@matt_pufc Transitional period , most clubs go through it. Let the new players bed in/get up to fitness, we will add a winger and striker. DMAC &Fergie know what they are doing. We will come good. 42 games left plenty of points to play for.

It’s so depressing isn’t it. We feel like a recently promoted team struggling to adapt to League One and holding out for a point from somewhere instead of the promotion chasing side we’ve been for years. I just can’t be arsed with it anymore.

@JohnVerrall The club got bashed for letting contracts run down , we have sold the player who clearly did not want to be here 🤷‍♂️(much of the problem last year) a replacement will be brought. We are a week into pre season. Chill !!!

This is the exact sort of transfer move we used to make. We now lose our best players to play-off chasing League One clubs. If you're not worried about the direction this club is travelling in, you should be.

@JohnVerrall @nobody_honest Poor game tonight but realistically only 4 out of the starting 11 tonight will start come August with 5 or 6 additions to come in , Reading & Charlton both finished 16th&17th last season and pushed on this season , Darragh and Darren will bring in some quality imo.

@nobody_honest This is my point. We're about to head into year three of a project designed to earn promotion from this level. Yet people seem to be happy with player showing glimpses of quality or moments of promise in the hope they develop massively in the space of a two month pre-season.

Very interested to see the retained list. Not sure how much more time we can give some of these players. They are constantly proving they are not good enough for a team with our ambitions at this level. Another miserable evening & it's been a terrible week for some of this squad.

@JohnVerrall @teddy_utp I like MM and Hayes, MM sometimes frustrates me with not doing the easy ball but he’s one of our best threats and Hayes needs to work on his end product but bags of potential and effort there . Would be great to keep the momentum and have a good end to the season

@SebFirman @teddy_utp And admittedly the Odoh line now looks really harsh, but at the time he was keeping Hayes and Mothersille out of the team, which just seemed utterly baffling to me. Thankfully MM has shifted inside since and Hayes has come into the team.

I still want him to demand the ball more, to take on his full-back more and just generally show a bit more belief & drive. However, he was much improved today and comfortably the best of our attacking four. Both his assists were very well crafted and crucial to the win.

@JohnVerrall @teddy_utp I got the theory behind why we set up that way but much prefer the recent approach. Hopefully a sign of a better second half to the season to come 👍

@SebFirman @teddy_utp The manager stuff is a bit harsh as I did qualify the whole thing with unless he changes his style. Fergie actually said he hated the way we set up at Charlton and couldn’t do it again, which was the exact game I said it after. I’m delighted he changed his mind!

@JohnVerrall @teddy_utp Just give the lad a break 😂 Randall took time to bed into the team and came good in the second season, similar to other players in the past. Since the Stevenage game the team seem to be back playing better and more attractive football let’s enjoy it 👍

@teddy_utp @SebFirman At the time I tweeted that Odoh was in the team at the expense of both Mothersille and Hayes. He had a good game yesterday but two assists against the worst side in the league, who had 10 men, is not exactly Odoh proving everyone wrong.

@JohnVerrall @teddy_utp Just need to chill out and not be so reactive which then makes you look silly,ODOH , Hayes, CCC all played majority of their football in non league, they will take time to adjust . Dmac&Fergie get it right more times than not. Hopefully building for a promotion push next season.

@teddy_utp Easy to say in hindsight but literally nobody said I was wrong when I stated that and Hayes was sitting on the bench. I’m happy he’s playing better but there’s still a long way to go for him.

@theposhmarketer 👍 Clive people will moan about anything, fair play to you and the team , including fans and doing the forums. God help the club wanting to modernise and potentially change the badge. No issues in my opinion. Most of the negativity will come from “Don’t like change” dinosaurs.

Going to reserve judgement, but it's hardly a signing which screams ambition. He simply cannot be any worse than what we have though and as a stop-gap until the end of the season, hopefully him and Fernandez can see us through. At least we should win a lot of headers.

Stupid comments like this don’t do you any favours. Nobody has told him to delete his tweets, and if you are that interested, I’ve told him that I don’t agree with deleting them. He’s said what he has said and should own it. Phil and Charlie have had a back and forth, and as is normally the way, people have taken any opportunity to give Charlie some grief. Unfortunately, they just don’t like a well educated 17 year old that isn’t afraid to share their opinion. I don’t need to defend Charlie, but I certainly won’t be sitting back and watching whilst you take petty little jibes at a mate of mine. If you can’t come up with something better than ‘he’s got homework’ or ‘are you a teaching assistant’, then don’t bother next time.
