A bit more close up of tvOS on iPhone I’ve been trying to pair it with iPhone remote app by fixing WiFi and BT, it still won’t detect. Fun fact: all code responsible for handling touch events still exist on tvOS. This was when I managed to skip setup but it doesn’t work anymore.

This iPhone XS Max has come a long way dualbooting various OSes like tvOS 16.5, macOS 13.4, iOS 26 sim. Thanks to usbliter8, I have managed to dualboot another build: iOS 13.2 InternalUI.

Anyone know if a efi/firmware mod is all that's needed to get a 4790k working on a late 2013 imac? 2014 imac's shipped with a 4790k, only 4 w higher tdp so i think it might be EFI gated,

@dosdude1 aye can do, i got a 820-2249 file here, just need to desolder the bios chip and run some wires to my flasher as i do not have a compatible pcb footprint/reader thing for those chips sadly XD, going to upgrade the vram from 128 to 256 too using chips from a 2008,

@dosdude1 Oh great, the old downloads i found of that were gone before, i made a custom bios for the UX so you can boot from NVME ssd's on the PCIE bus, so i'd like to get a mac+xp setup on the internal IDE drive

@dosdude1 what size solder Balls did you use for your core 2 swaps? Apparently official is 0.45mm to 0.50mm thickness 😂 I did end up getting my chip on but the cpu silicon cracked by a pre existing chip 🤦‍♂️

@dosdude1 Aye well thanks, was not too far off then, might be tolerance of brand as i use an ATTEN air station, just waiting for a new cpu and retry adhesion, hopefully finally have an Core 2 duo U7700 Sony vaio UX 😂 i had put a custom keyboard backlight in it already,

@Sebas_Kitten Never had such an issue with mine. So long as you’re using a preheater, 280 - 290 C on hot air, especially for such a small board, is as high as you want to go. I have my air speed as high as it can go when using that nozzle.

@dosdude1 What about the heat and maybe speed you use on that square CPU nozzle? No uneven heat issues on yours? I got up to 320C at about 2/3rd's airflow on a atten station with that nozzle, for some reason still took forever for the chip to come. even with the 180 bottom PCB temps,

@synackuk @dora2ios hm so this means. ios 5 ios 6 and ios 7 now have a iboot exploit? That's prtty damn solid. now we only need a ios 8 iboot exploit and then A LOT of other devices will have untethered support, iphone 5 to ios 6, ipad mini 1 ipad 4 ipod touch 5, you name it.

@1nsane_dev so i got a question, did you ever manage to boot this iphone 5s? or was it forever stuck on the battery sign? Was it a switchboard UI with ios 6 as base? I am curious if we could ever port/hack ios 6 working on A7 chips. especially with ios 7 running on a ipad 1
