@Suzanne_Heath Interesting. One might call this an attendance fee. With no specific service expected but recompensing the loss of other earnings during the time period.

Is anyone aware of any writing about paying artists to come for interview & this being considered best practice? I am arguing for this with a client, and am saying it’s a fee to cover their prep time as well as actual travel expenses incurred.
