This afternoon, we addressed a media briefing on the Phala Phala matter, youth unemployment, June 16 commemorations, and the socio-economic challenges facing young people in South Africa. Economic Freedom and Social Change Now, Not Later! #ANCYLatWork

📸 Today, together with members of the ANCYL Provincial Executive Committee (PEC), we met with structures in Thabazimbi during a Cadres Forum to receive feedback from the week-long engagements led by the Provincial Secretariat Office (PSO).

Today, as ANC Youth League structures, we were convened by ANC Provincial Secretary, Reuben Madadzhe, at Hayani Guesthouse. This forms part of ongoing engagements in preparation for the upcoming Local Government Elections. ✊🏾 #ANCYL #LGE2026

Mbhoma’s mother expressed her sincere gratitude to us and the ANCYL North West provincial leadership for their continued support, particularly in the ongoing court process aimed at getting justice for her son.

During the visit, we reaffirmed the ANCYL’s unwavering commitment to the family and emphasised that their son will never be forgotten and that his home will always remain a home of the Youth League.

Following the Freedom Day event, myself accompanied by the Provincial Organiser, as well as the Regional Chairperson and Secretary of Vhembe, visited the homestead of the late Cde Mbhoma.

Today, I attended the Freedom Day 2026 celebration held at Saselamani Stadium in Xikundu Village, Vhembe District, where we came together to commemorate 30 years of democratic citizenship and reflect on the importance of freedom and the rule of law. 🇿🇦

Today we joined mourners at Jack Botes Hall in Polokwane to bid farewell to Ntate Makgalemele Donald Molepo, father of Limpopo ANC Deputy Chairperson Cde John Makoro Mpe. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Molepo family. May his soul rest in peace 🕊️

Earlier today, the ANCYL proudly delivered a message of support at the ANC Limpopo Local Government Councillor Launch and Nomination held at Giyani Stadium under the Norman Mashabane Sub-region.

Today and tomorrow, I will lead a Voter Registration activation at Tafelkop in the Sekhukhune Region, in preparation for the Local Government Elections, mobilising young people to register to vote and actively participate in shaping their communities. #ANCYLatWork

We joined the Pentecostal Christian Fellowship (PCF) Church in Sekhukhune today, alongside the regional leadership, to celebrate Easter through worship, embracing a moment of reflection, unity, and renewal of faith.

Day 1 of the ANC Limpopo 11th Provincial Conference has successfully concluded, marking a historic milestone with the election of the first female Provincial Chairperson, Dr Phophi Ramathuba. Congratulations are in order on this groundbreaking achievement.
