Had the opportunity to spend time with our Soldiers in Germany, and engaged in serious, candid conversations about our UAS and counter UAS capabilities. I appreciate getting honest feedback because it shapes how our @USArmy is preparing for the future battlefield.

It was an honor to meet with Romanian Defense Minister @RaduMiruta and take a meaningful step forward in accelerating the delivery of UAS and counter-UAS capability to our forces. Our nations agree we need to move fast and get our Soldiers what they need for the fight ahead.

Pleased to discuss with Secretary of the @USArmy Dan Driscoll security topics of shared interest and ways to enhance our enduring RO-US Strategic Partnership, with a special focus on defence and economy. We agreed that there is a need to step up our cooperation in order to take advantage of all defence industry cooperation opportunities, including security  innovation, research and start-ups. Romania continues to be the most reliable US partner and Ally at the Black Sea, where challenges and risks tend to increase, affecting the Euro-Atlantic security. Romania is ready to invest more and to do more for its own security and for Allied security. We are convinced that the security of Ukraine is closely linked to our own security and also to the security of the Republic of Moldova and to the region as a whole. We both share the assessment that we should diversify efforts to adjust to the existing security environment. There is still a huge potential within the framework of our bilateral cooperation and we are ready to increase all efforts with the aim at achieving more concrete results in areas of strategic interest, to the mutual benefit of our countries and citizens. @USAmbRO

We face real and growing risks in a world defined by constant change. Our @USArmy must stay focused on transforming with purpose and speed to outpace our adversaries.

The MV-75, Cheyenne II, is essential to modernizing @usarmy aviation. We are working hard to field the platform as quickly as possible to get the best equipment into the hands of our Soldiers.

I am honored to be here representing our @USArmy Soldiers before HAC-D. They push me to be better every day, and I am here to fight for what’s best for them before our nation’s lawmakers.

Every April, we recognize our military children. Spending time with @USArmy kids reminds you of their own commitment to our mission. They adapt, they support, and they carry this life with them everyday. I’m so thankful for all they do for our Soldiers.

Spent time in Georgia with Soldiers at @USAGFortGordon and @fortbenning, seeing firsthand the edge they’re building right now. I was also honored to join the OCS Hall of Fame and I was reminded that our leaders are what set the @USArmy apart.

Last week, I visited @USAGFortGordon, where @ARCYBER is delivering speed, precision, and dominance in the cyber domain. I then traveled to @fortbenning, where I met with the next generation of leaders at OCS and the warriors of the 75th Ranger Regiment. The @USArmy is transforming for the fight of tomorrow, and putting lethality into practice today.

From Fort Riley to Fort Hood to Pine Bluff Arsenal, this is what it looks like to build the future of the @USArmy.

In my first 13 months, I made it a priority to get out and see all 12 Army divisions and spend time with Soldiers. At every stop I saw Soldiers identifying problems, building solutions, and moving faster than we ever have. Our @USArmy is the best it’s ever been because of the Soldiers in our ranks.

Dropped by 42 Bistro to experience the campus-style dining @USArmy Soldiers are getting on Ft. Hood. More choices and better spaces like this are part of improving quality of life for our warfighters.

Visited the @FightingFirst and saw firsthand what makes the Big Red One special. Our Soldiers continue to show that the Army’s greatest innovators are the ones wearing the uniform.

Stopped by The Great Place to spend time with @iiiarmoredcorps and @1stCavalryDiv. The Soldiers at Fort Hood are doing incredible work pushing Army transformation forward and strengthening the force for what’s ahead.

The visit to Louisiana and Mississippi showed us how the @usacehq is driving our Building Infrastructure, Not Paperwork initiative. The @usarmy is focused on getting critical projects built and delivered for the American people. Thank you @senatorwicker, @govjefflandry, and @asacivilworks for the great visit and your support to our Army.
