Testified before the Senate Appropriations Committee-Defense on the Army's effort to expand strategic partnerships with private industry through the use of underutilized installation land. By aligning Army infrastructure with private sector capital, energy development, and computing capacity, we will accelerate modernization while building the technological foundation required for the future fight at no cost to the American tax payer.

Today, I spoke with the Senate Appropriations Committee-Defense on the counter-drone marketplace we are building to share information and equipment with our international parters. The faster we can connect industry, partners, and Soldiers to the right capabilities, the faster we can stay ahead of emerging threats.

This Armed Forces Day, I’d like to recognize our Soldiers as our @USArmy’s greatest asset. I think about them every day, and getting to meet them across five continents is what makes this job so meaningful. Each time, I see the same thing. Discipline, pride, and a commitment to getting better every day. Proud to serve alongside them.

I discussed with the House Armed Services Committee how @USArmy acquisition reform is already delivering real results for our Soldiers. By transforming the way we procure equipment, we can get our Soldiers what they need to fight and win at a pace that keeps up with the battlefield.

Our Soldiers must have the right to repair the gear they use to win our nations wars wherever they are and whatever the conditions.

Testified before the House Armed Services Committee on how transforming the Army Corps of Engineers delivers critical infrastructure for Americans faster. Less bureaucracy means safer communities, stronger infrastructure, and real results people see in their daily lives. "Building Infrastructure, Not Paperwork" is an initiative rooted in building with purpose so American's can feel the impact in their own communities.

The drone threat is evolving in real time, and I made that clear to the Senate Armed Services Committee. JIATF-401 is central to our response, aligning interagency partners to close capability gaps and quickly field counter UAS solutions. The @USArmy is leading the efforts to keep Americans at home safe.

This isn't theoretical, it's yielding actual results. Every day, Soldiers are driving change and our Army is hitting measurable milestones that prove transformation is happening now.

Spoke with the Senate Armed Services Committee to explain Project Jailbreak, a new way to connect our advanced warfighting systems that our Soldiers rely on. Securing the right to integrate enhances out Soldiers ability to stay ahead on the modern battlefield.

Today I testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee, and let them know that the status quo is no longer going to cut it. We must invest where it matters most to push real transformation that promptly delivers capabilities to our @USArmy Soldiers.

Across Europe and Africa, it is clear how quickly our capabilities are evolving. Our Soldiers are training hard and moving fast, and we will not let outdated systems hold them back. This trip reinforced the urgency to secure the right to integrate through Project Jailbreak. We cannot afford to wait when speed is what will define the modern battlefield.

Last week, I traveled across Europe and Africa to speak with our Soldiers, and their message to me was clear: they are innovating at speed, but disconnected systems are holding them back. That is why we are launching our Right to Integrate initiative and Project Jailbreak. By partnering with 9 of the nation’s leading defense companies, we are securing the “Right to Integrate” and digitally connecting these systems to deliver capability at speed. Through the largest hackathon in our history, we are breaking open these historically siloed systems to accelerate decision-making and give our Soldiers the decisive edge required to win on the modern battlefield. Super proud of our @7thID Soldiers training in the Philippines. For the first time, the U.S. military fired assets operated on the southernmost island in Palawan, extending our reach across the Balabac Strait towards the South China Sea. This is how the @USArmy strengthens regional deterrence and builds global readiness.

Had the opportunity to spend time with our Soldiers in Germany, and engaged in serious, candid conversations about our UAS and counter UAS capabilities. I appreciate getting honest feedback because it shapes how our @USArmy is preparing for the future battlefield.

It was an honor to meet with Romanian Defense Minister @RaduMiruta and take a meaningful step forward in accelerating the delivery of UAS and counter-UAS capability to our forces. Our nations agree we need to move fast and get our Soldiers what they need for the fight ahead.
