We remember our friend and colleague, Taro Firanelli, who for the last 17 years has been a part of our Highlands Family. Although we mourn his passing, we rejoice that he is at peace and healed.

I can’t imagine how different things will be without Taro Firanelli in our lives in the Highlands of Scotland in #SecondLife. Taro’s passing in recent days reminds me how special, yet tenuous, life can be in the virtual world. My fondest memories of him will always be moments like group dancing at Nessie’s Neuk and enjoying his wit and humour. At 84 years old, he was remarkably adept at everything in Second Life and a truly amazing, inspiring human being. I’ll have more to say soon, but for now, thank you for being a friend, Taro.
