We, members and leaders of the ADC, and other well-meaning Nigerians, lovers of democracy, are saying that our democracy must not be killed. We say NO to a one-party system and for that today we’re calling out Nigerians who believe in unity, peace, and security of our country to join us as we defend democracy in our land.

It is with a heavy heart that I have learned of yet another horrific attack yesterday by terrorists on the community of Ngoshe in Borno State, which targeted not only a military base but also an internally displaced persons (IDP) camp, and sadly claimed the lives of innocent civilians and soldiers, many of whom are still missing.
I watched several videos of this tragedy with deep horror. Once again we are confronted with the painful reality of the daily suffering that far too many Nigerians are forced to endure. This is unacceptable.
How long will Nigerians continue to bear the consequences of poor leadership and mismanagement? How many more lives must be lost before decisive action is taken to secure our communities, protect the vulnerable, and dismantle the structures of these insurgents?
While Nigerians are slaughtered daily by terrorists, what is more troubling is that amid these daily killings, our political leaders are preoccupied with selfish schemings on how to steal, grab and run away with the next election cycle, and keep us in insecurity, poverty and underdevelopment.
To the families who have lost loved ones, to the children now displaced, and to the communities living in fear, I stand with you in grief and in resolve. Your pain is Nigeria’s pain. Your safety and dignity must be the priority of any government that claims to serve the people.
Nigeria deserves a leadership that values human life above all else.
Our nation is stronger than the terror that threatens it. But we cannot remain silent, and we cannot accept inaction. We must act now, for today’s victims, for tomorrow’s children, and for the Nigeria we all deserve.

He was kidnapped, they demanded for ₦10m ransom, his family solicited and delivered the money, then they demanded for extra 3 new bikes which couldn’t be met. His family will be performing his final rite in his absence today as the kidnappers have cut off every communication 💔

Our Votes Must Count
Unlike in the past, in 2027 our votes MUST count, and all those who are there not to count the votes will be counted among those destroying Nigeria. I encourage everyone to remain at the polling units after voting to count and witness the counting and transmission of results. Those who refuse to allow the votes count will be made to count the full weight of the law against rigging. Let me reiterate: if you do not count our votes, we will count you among those who destroy our democracy, thereby destroying our future, and you must answer to the law. -PO

Let’s start by boycotting them.
Unfollow them on all social media platforms.
Stop watching their movies.
Stop streaming their songs.
Stop buying tickets to attend their events.

Mocking Bola Tinubu is not "opposition" neither is it a revolutionary act. It is just something you to do make yourself feel like you are doing something.
It's a coping mechanism, similar to how Cameroonians mercilessly poke fun at Paul Biya, and he absorbs it quietly, or how Ugandans mock Museveni and he plays along with that "doddering granddad" act he puts on.
In reality, mockery changes nothing because they're still president. Privately, they all laugh at your memes and AI videos poking fun at them, because the joke ultimately is on you for laughing at them while they're overseeing the empire's ruthless extraction from you.
I'm not saying you should stop laughing at Tinubu, but what I am saying is that you should not mistake your laughter for resistance.
And sometimes, there's actually nothing funny.

Nigerians with their Very Valuable Lives: "You're outside Nigeria busy telling us to revolt so that they will shoot us dead in the street. Why don't you come back and lead the rebellion yourself?!"

Lagosians have been trapped under rubble for days, but Governor Sanwolu has reduced leadership to a single tweet.
I find it deeply troubling that while families wait in anguish and rescue efforts stretch on for days, the Governor’s only public response was a brief statement offering thoughts and prayers, with no subsequent updates, no daily briefings, and no visible assumption of responsibility.
Leadership in moments of tragedy demands more than symbolism. It requires presence, empathy, transparency, and constant communication.
Lagosians deserve to hear, daily if necessary, what is being done, what resources are being deployed, who is accountable, and how lives are being prioritised.
A Governor must do more than visit a site and issue a statement. He must lead from the front, speak to the people consistently, comfort grieving families, coordinate rescue efforts openly, and reassure citizens that their lives matter beyond press releases.
Lagosians deserve better, because empathy cannot be episodic, neither can accountability be optional.
Our firefighters and emergency responders deserve commendation. They deserve our support and prayers, and I’m humbled by their courage and dedication.
My family and I will be praying for those trapped to be rescued, and will be grieving with the families who have lost loved ones.
