Reports today that the Royal Navy — you know, the one that ruled the waves — now down to five frigates. Some of which already have commitments. So we cannot provide a carrier fleet for our aircraft carriers, who have their own problems. A national disgrace in which Tory, Labour and even the pathetic Lib Dems are complicit.

A Muslim imam and influencer openly claims that a girl must dress “modestly” even around her own father — so she doesn’t “provoke” him to rape her. If the rape happens, he says, it’s the girl’s fault for how she dressed. Why is this kind of barbaric thinking still tolerated, defended, or excused in the West?

Why does the Green Party rely so heavily on a handful of big individual donors with relatively low public profiles? • Michael Taylor: ~£290k (including a large 2024 gift) • Mark Constantine (Lush co-founder): ~£270k • Roger Manser: ~£195k • Raymond S Morris: ~£184k (big 2014 donation) These aren’t massive corporations or foreign interests — they’re mostly private individuals and one cosmetics entrepreneur. Fair enough, but with the Greens pushing radical policies on energy, taxes, net zero, and more, shouldn’t we ask: Who are these donors beyond the chequebook? What are their specific interests in Green policies? How much influence do large gifts like these buy in a party that’s gaining traction? Transparency in political funding matters for all parties — not just the usual targets. The public deserves full scrutiny of who’s bankrolling the agenda. Worked with Maureen in 2015 on a play, in Birmingham & London, & there were concerns for her safety even then.
