@_Twinndiesel It’s a good show, but they’re milking it. Questions are still waiting to be answered. It’s like watching LOST.

Yep. That's pretty much the exact tone I was hoping for from a Street Fighter movie. Still love that it's set in 1993.

@TheCardboardDu1 @maximilian_ I don’t mean serious like 100% grounded. An example is something like The Winter Soldier. It had a serious tone, but still involved super powered characters.
The SF movie were getting feels like slapstick comedy. Don’t get me wrong, it looks fun.
English

@SeeTheVZN @maximilian_ I don’t know that there are a lot of people out there clamoring for a serious SF movie. It’s based on a video game where people shoot fireballs and do 30’ vertical uppercuts. It SHOULD be silly.

@blackishpress @beyoncepress Did they edit the article? I don’t see tracee. I don’t even get the description because everyone in each photo has a different hairstyle.

Vogue Faces Backlash for Attempting to Rename the Afro hairstyle in a recent article
The editor referred to the hairstyle as a "cloud bob" — described as a soft, airy, rounded cut with volume and natural texture. The piece featured imagery of Tracee Ellis Ross’s iconic look and styles clearly rooted in the Afro, yet made no reference to its deep cultural history.
The response from the Black community has been swift and vocal. Many see this as another instance of cultural erasure — rebranding a hairstyle long tied to Black identity, pride, and resistance with a neutral, trend-friendly name.
The Afro isn’t just a look; it’s a symbol. From the Civil Rights era to today, it represents unapologetic authenticity and natural beauty. Renaming it risks diminishing that legacy while profiting from the very aesthetic it helped create. Fashion should celebrate innovation without erasing origins. True appreciation includes acknowledgment and respect for the communities that originated these styles.

Makes you wonder why cast RDJ if the character always wears the mask and has an accent
Matt Ramos@therealsupes
You genuinely wouldn’t be able to tell RDJ is playing Doom. The accent is a rough, deep British accent & Doom is never unmasked. He looks exactly like this. The aura is insane.

@frostman007 He’s gonna get knocked into the pit in the first 5 minutes. 😂

@HQNewsNow It was almost $5 at Costco the last time I went, which is usually known for having low gas prices.

27 years ago today, “Life” premiered in theaters grossing $73M off an $80M budget. Would you consider this movie to be a classic?

@camerobradford And Robert De Niro’s character seems to be some type of retired spy. Surely there’s going to be some humorous scenarios involving that. I’d hate for THAT guy to be my father-in-law. 😂
English

"Focker' sounds a liiiittle too close to another word I will not mention. Definitely will be interested to see how they navigate this, seeing as how it appears to be one of the character's names.
