The tech is cool, literally not a single person is going to want you overwriting their fun Roblox looking game with this visual layer on top of it. I think you all at Roblox have this vision of breaking away from the typical Roblox visuals, perhaps consider that’s one of the main things keeping you ahead of the competition. Every other “Roblox like” thing being built all just looks like generic bore. Your Roblox visuals is one of your largest separators and is practically a hallmark of the platform. I’m all for more customization and ability to create a wider variety of visuals, but we can stop pretending the standard blocky Roblox look is going anywhere. That’s what the people like. It’s a charm the platform has. Some like the high fidelity, many do not. High fidelity is everywhere. Roblox charm is only on Roblox, don’t lose it.

@DJMonopoli See, I would just say have them hire actual competent moderation. I'm pretty sure last time I looked it up, they have like a fraction of the amount that large social media platforms have. If they would stop being so reliant on AI for things, maybe the platform would be better...

I genuinely HATE a lot of the new requirements for publishing games on Roblox, but I'm also not going to sit here and deny that it will absolutely make Roblox a safer place, which is realistically what we all wanted, so I'm torn. Bottom line is, (no matter how much everyone believes there is) there's just not a whole lot of truly effective and plausibly implementable solutions for ACTUALLY improving safety and moderation on a platform as big and complex as Roblox, and you can't really compare Roblox to any other gaming platforms, because it's just different in almost every way. It's just a shame that all of these solutions come with such a horrible cost of negatively affecting the platform and player experience in such a dramatic way... 🥲

@MikiDragoness Yeah, I've realized that Headless + Face Mask is basically the best workaround now. But that's not a perfect fix, and without uploading or buying anything new, 17 of my 63 outfits are completely unusable, and about 75% of my outfits had to be given headless to work now.

@lilygia A lot of the toy code faces got completely butchered. Tsundere Expression has colors that don't match the original, and the expression doesn't match either. Also, Rainbow Spirit Face is just... a nightmare.

Ok, I hate this so much. I do not my face clipping through the face mask I normally use. Even when I don't use the face mask, the new colors are off, and the expression feels completely different. And where is the option to "disable the animations" like they said?

@DJMonopoli Absolutely! I will 100% find more unintended shortcuts and subsequently request them to be possible like the ramp one :)

We've been getting requests to make a full racing Roblox game after seeing what we did in the event hub. RB Battles Games developed the racing part pretty quickly so I'm sure we could do something AWESOME with more time.. but only if enough of you REALLY want us to! Should we?💚

@rbjessewastaken @Roblox My expectations are low for Roblox lately. I highly doubt they'll have a setting for it, and even then, there are still apps that will open and run in the background, despite telling them to not open on startup via their app and system settings.

Playing on a Windows PC? The Roblox app now runs in the background so you never miss an update, game invite, connection request, event notification and more.

@shrezird @Roblox This is true, I normally have TM open anyways, but I don't want to be having to force shutdown it every time. They might have an option to disable it running in the background... but my expectations are low.

@Roblox How about "don't ship Dynamic Heads and leave classic faces as is"? We don't want your forced awful AI- generated looking Dynamic Head slop of the classic faces we've had for nearly 2 decades.

Ship 4K textures and let the engine handle the rest.
