Mall videos from the 80's going around again. When I was 17 in 1982 I had- -My driver's license -My own car that I bought myself for $400 -My own car insurance that I paid for -A part time job a mile from my house -A girlfriend -Two parents with a stay at home mom -Movie theaters with more first-run gems than you can now find in a decade of films -Access to theme parks that weren't overrun with scum -Lots of drinking buddies -Normal street fights that didn't risk death by pistol -Almost no sense or care of politics -Freedom of movement and disconnection when wanted (no cell phones) -Great music on the radio -Access to clubs thanks to my older brother's expired ID that I changed the exp date on. (paper license) -Etc. I could go on and on. It isn't just nostalgia. We have lost so much that it's heartbreaking. I have sincere sympathy for young men living in our current times.

I'm not a fan of this post. Even if houses were significantly cheaper on the coasts, the Midwest would still be a desirable place to live for many reasons. Wisconsin and Minnesota are two of the most functional states in the country.

I refuse to believe that Americans only get two weeks off a year That's bloody criminal You should get at least five, NOT including public holidays

"Addicted to Love" (1986) The producer wanted the models to look like mannequins, stiff, expressionless, and robotic, and that gave the video its signature look. Did that make the video unforgettable for you? x.com/calmalgodown/s…

@SarahTheHaider your reasoning to have done it initially and stop it after are worth looking into. because the problem isn't that people don't stop. the problem is that they ever do it to begin with. it's really stupid and only few have such honesty and integrity to stop.
