Started playing #TalesOfArise on #PS5. Bought it a few years ago and apparently only played 8 mins lol. Started again and now about 4 hours in, really enjoying it so far. #gaming

Playing some Screamer Rally on #Windows98 today. First time in a while ive played a game on this system that just works. CD audio, sound, graphics and controller all perfect. Its a really fun game too. #gaming #RETROGAMING

Looking through my #PSP games and came across some UMD movies i picked up ages ago because they were 50p. I googled to see how many of there are and apparently theres somewhere between 1500 and 1800 of these, cant believe it, i rarely saw these when they were current #retrogaming

Picked up another 4:3 LCD monitor for a fiver. Decent refresh rate and resolution and a really nice picture for an LCD. #gaming #RETROGAMING

@PresPerfGaming Ill have to get into some of the Telltale games, i always liked the look of their The Walking Dead game so ill probably start there.

@SegaMegaDave I'm a big Lego fan too. And I've been enjoying RE6, not classic survival horror, but it's exhilarating! And with Telltale, I'm a big fan, but I do have issue with the illusion of choice in some of their games. I enjoy them as interactive fiction, and GoT is well produced.

Started playing Project Snowblind on the PC. Its only been sat in the backlog for 20 odd years, i think its time to dust it off and give it a proper go. #gaming #RETROGAMING

And thats Project Snowblind finished. Not a bad FPS with some cool ideas for its time. Really enjoyed my playthrough. #gaming #retrogaming

@PresPerfGaming Some decent games there. Love the LEGO games for co-op, although the newest one was a bit of a letdown. Resi 6 was much better than i was expecting well worth sticking with. I haven't played any of the Telltale games, they are in my back log though, ill get to them eventually😅.

@SegaMegaDave Ha, yep I've got more than a few stop-starts in the backlog! Recently picked up Resident Evil 6, Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars, and finished A Game of Thrones (Telltale). Bit of a random selection, but all started long ago...😂

Playing something a bit more modern today with #Littlenightmares2 on #PS5. Not far into it so far but seems like a nice continuation of the first game. #Gaming

@PresPerfGaming Happy New Year mate, yea i havent been posting much recently, trying to get back into it now though. There are so many from that era that i didnt get around to finishing, i should go through my collection and separate out everything i actually want to complete, i bet theres a few

I just started playing #Trepang2 on the #PS5, I had read a lot of good thing about this game. After finishing the first stage, it dont disappoint. Its a high adrenaline pumping oldskool shooter with a lot of fun 😎

Thats NFS:Carbon for #NintendoDS finished. Ended up finishing it on the #3DS, the screen is so much better. I enjoyed the game overall, its different to the PSP game, runs better and i like the way its structured more. #gaming #RETROGAMING

Starting my #RetroGaming year with NFS:Carbon on the #NintendoDS. Played a couple of races so far and its not bad, it runs surprisingly well and looks decent. #gaming

@bigk4thewin Nice. I've got the first game on PC and 360 and the second game on WiiU and PS3, ill have to keep an eye out for the other versions.

@SegaMegaDave I'm a big sega collector, retro or modern, hardware or software. Have almost all versions of the sonic/sega all-star racing (bar ps vita as I don't own the console) mainly for special guest characters on each version (think Soul calibur 2 on PS2/GC/Xbox)

@bigk4thewin Yea i always feel like Nintendo get the best out of their machines, the perfect combination of technical expertise and creativity. I'll definitely keep an eye out for Sonic Racing, its great on other platforms, will be interesting to see the DS version.

@SegaMegaDave Feel the ds punished above it's limitations - always creativity first with Nintendo, that's why you seen so many games you wouldn't have associated with Nintendo on their handhelds back then. Sonic and sega all-star racing has no business being as good as it is on ds, one to try!

@Craig_Higgins Yea i think ill deffo get an XL if i go for a new DS.

@SegaMegaDave If you do take the plunge I can't recommend a DSi XL enough. The ultimate DS variant imo.

@Craig_Higgins I never used the DS enough back in the day to warrant the upgrade. Could definitely do with one for this game though, a brighter screen would help a lot.

@SegaMegaDave OG DS and not the Lite variant? You don't see that much...

First game of 2025 completed. Red Matter on the #Quest3. Really decent first person puzzle game, enjoyed it a lot. #Gaming #VRGaming
