@EineLotta It's not that I think they're a character and not a human, but I wouldn't treat a vtuber the same as a fleshtuber, I can't call someone real an oshi, it would feel weird. In that sense, that immersion does break (not the lore one lol)

@EineLotta I'm not a fan, and it’s not about disliking the person at all, but we got into vtubing for the anime/character aspect. Face reveals kind of shifts it from 2D fantasy idol-adjacent to regular streamer, and it just feels different. No hate but I think the perspective changes

I personally have no issues with face reveals 🥹
It’s totally fine whether VTubers do one or not, as long as they feel comfortable.
Even if they do, their personality doesn’t suddenly change.
How do you see it?

I'm rewatching the hololive myth fortune spinner concert and I need to say, myth works super well as 3, i don't think I would've enjoyed some of the performances such as BIBIDIBA as much if there were more people (as unfortunate as it is, i'm just looking at the bright side here)
