Yesterday, the Leadership Mission to Canada delegation attended a walkthrough of Sherbrooke University’s Quantum Institute which highlighted Canada’s quantum strategy and ongoing projects in areas such as quantum sensing, telecommunications, cybersecurity and cryptography. The tour also included demonstrations of experimental infrastructure such as cryogenic systems, fabrication equipment, and precision testing technologies used in the development of next-generation quantum devices.

Yesterday at the Florida Business Breakfast in Sherbrooke, @SelectFLA President and CEO Matt Swason spoke to Québec government, business and academic leaders about why Florida is a hub for international trade and commerce—promoting a pro-business climate that welcomes international players, established companies and blossoming startups to grow and thrive in the Sunshine State and beyond.
