Due to a major incident, the Selfnet WiFi (Selfnet and Selfnet PSK) is currently unavailable. Status-Updates: status.selfnet.de ^fh

We are currently having some issues with our central WLAN. status.selfnet.de/incidents/94 ^lj

This evening, we'll make some changes to our WLAN to increase the possible bandwidth starting at 18:00 o'clock. The outage should only last a couple of minutes. The LAN connections in the dormitory rooms won't be affected.

@Selfnet_eV see some email hacking coming from 141.72.243.]188, might want to check that you dont' have a #router compromise, and suggest that you add PTR records to your IPs that reflect the nature, eg dyna.* etc..

Unfortunately some of our switches in the Heilmannstraße 4 dormitory have been impacted by a broken water pipe. We are working on restoring all connections and will keep you updated through our status page: selfnet-status.de/incidents/83 ^ab

Since this morning there is a major outage of the Selfnet WiFi service. We are already investigating it. In the meantime we recommend using the wired connection through the network outlet in every room. For updates on this issue please refer to: status.selfnet.de/incidents/85 ^fh

For those interested: Yes there is a dehumidifier under the plastic tarpaulin. Also we had to do this for 2 racks on different levels of the building. ^ab

Due to maintenance work, there will be an interruption of the Internet in Allmandring 1 with the house numbers 10A-D. The work will start today at 7 pm. We expect to be able to put the connection back into operation tonight.

The power outage at the Vaihingen campus unfortunately affected some of our equipment. We are currently taking a closer look at the failed devices. ^fh

Today at around 23:30 we will update our wifi access controllers. So Selfnet wifi won’t be available for approx. 1 hour. ^fh

Currently there is some maintenance work for our wifi infrastructure going on, so you could experience some issues/major outtage with Selfnet wifi this evening/night. ^fh

We need to update our firewalls. Therefore, there may be short interruptions in the network. ^se
