A Texas woman was put in handcuffs by the Fulshear Police Department after they claimed her vehicle 'matched the description' of one involved in a robbery at a gas station.
‼️Backstory‼️
usually keep the hard things I go through to myself because I'm a very private person.
But after sitting with this for a week... I decided to share.
What happened to me while I had my stepdaughter and toddler in the car shook me. And even though I wasn't physically harmed, the mental impact is real.
My vehicle "matched the description" of one involved in a robbery at a gas station... but the details didn't even line up.
Different vehicle type. Different race. Different gender.
And still... I was detained.
I have a clean record. And if this is what I experienced... I can only imagine what others go through every single day.
I'm tired of feeling alone in moments like this. So I'm sharing.
