Six years ago today, in the middle of uncertainty and fear, we served our very first 15 meals. It didn’t feel like the beginning of something big. It felt small. Urgent. Human. Necessary. But today, those 15 meals have grown into a movement of compassion, resilience, and hope.

We have no permanent place of operation for the kitchens except the Chitungwiza Kitchen, which is home. This has put us through a lot of strain when owners of the place no longer want to volunteer their place. We are turning 6 years in a few days, and settling would be great.

We are looking for assistance with securing a place to operate from in Epworth A place that is receptive, safe and open to accommodate the children we cater to. The past month has been very difficult for our daily proceedings.

We also received groceries and goodies to make the children's dishes more palatable. We broke into song and dance at the Christmas party where the kids had cake, drinks, chicken inn, nandos, pizza and ice cream. We will continue to wish to have them over every year.

The children are in primary and high school. They were struggling to enroll and pay school. Please help us thank @SimbisaBrands for the upfliment of our community.

Simbisa year! Epworth had the merriest of Christmas. @SimbisaBrands has not only brought goodies but have turned (for the better) around the children's lives forever. 25 children will be getting support from a scholarship fund awarded to Kuchengetana Trusts beneficiaries

A well wishes made Christmas possible at this kitchen. Though they refused to be mentioned, we are truly indebted and hope many draw inspiration from her kind act Thank you for the kitchens covered.

We had a well wisher donate beautiful tables which were forcefully taken by those who feel own our project/initiative. We peacefully serve anyone who needs our assistance. Our aim is to cater for any and every child in need of our support. Anything else has nothing to do with us

We still support the traditional birthing assistants in Epworth. We truly owe these women more than the small packages we have been able to give them. They help preserve life during emergencies especially with our pregnant teens. They need food, sanitation and moral support

Making a please for sanitary wear, soap, dry foods, water, firewood, meat and clothing. This will make life easier and bearable.

Towards Christmas we had awesome show of love. The children had some protein and goodies from our anonymous sponsor. Last year we only had meat in December. Hoping that the year 2026 normalises protein (meat) intake and more

A gentle plea for blankets, shoes, groceries, sanitary wear, vegetables and school fees. The Trust is solely donor driven. We are fully reliant on your support and consistency. Our kitchens cater for 1560 children with more trying to register with us.
