Now, here’s my point. There are ways to talk about the role of churches, and other nonprofits in society, that make sense, and some that don’t. It is good and reasonable to expect churches, and other nonprofit organizations, to serve their communities.

Calling that an “equal test” is like comparing soup kitchens to art galleries. Churches are built on charity; museums aren’t. If you miss that, you’re not doing research, you’re doing PR for your own bias.

Apparently today was another prophesied rapture. What if every prophesied rapture actually did happen but too few people actually got “taken” (1) to notice, and (2) for God to feel comfortable ending the world so he tries again in a few years.

I remember having a conversation a year ago about an incredibly worrying trend. In surveys, the dividing line between young voters wasn't just male vs female — it was whether you graduated high school pre or post-COVID. The latter group was incredibly anti-social and very angry.

Does doing a phd give you a passive where ppl feel compelled to ask about your researcharea bc during voir dire the defense after hearing I was doing privsec talked about market emails and waited fr a response and i asked what the q was said nvm just smething he was interested in
