@AdepetuTayo If you want to “understand” the POV of a politician on why he wouldn't want to dismantle what he built but he was comfortable with the lives of Nigerians being dismantled with shambolic policies, that is absolutely fine. But I think I made my point clear in my tweet.

Personally, I would rather see a politician hop between a hundred parties than remain in one, watching in silence as a president they endorsed dismantles an economy with policies unprecedented in Sub-Saharan Africa... policies that have destroyed livelihoods and wiped out the prospects of an entire generation.
Staying put, cloaking inaction in the language of "I am quietly waiting, biding my time" while real damage is being done to real people... nah, nah. I'd never rate that.

@La_j0lz He can't repeat those same numbers on his own. PDP still had influence then that helped. But he still has a high value nevertheless. El-Rufai and Amaechi can't do much too, nobody is lining up under the sun cos of those two.
