He didn't pause it, it was Stopped/DEFEATED in its tracks when Iran attacked two ships including one belonging to UAE in the Strait yesterday! And it attacked 10 America targets on the same day! It's was just foolish to think Trump could forcefully make SHIPS cross Hormuz when MISSILES and DRONES are still flying.

@ChrisOchen1 Uganda as a country is a try and error. Learn the mistake and look for ways of correcting in a bad way. Same applies to the Uganda Airways saga. People knew but ignored. This bill will cause alot of damage and severe corruption. It's painful that "the love for my country" is zero

Under the Sovereignty Bill, as a Ugandan working abroad, I must limit my remittances for community development to not more than UGX 400 million per year, or seek prior ministerial approval. For a serious multi-billion shilling project in my village, the bureaucracy and long delays will simply frustrate everything and discourage development.

But also Ugandans we are sick of these Ethiopians, Sudanese, Eritreans, South Sudanese and Somalians. They are engaging in local businesses what are we supposed to do? They have made rent to raise in apartments where they rent which has became a problem to our fellow Ugandans renting from those apartments. They take away ours girls with a thinking that they have money more than us. If south Africans are doing it, we should also do it. Uganda belongs to Ugandans.

You all need to stop making everything about yourselves. There are people out here barely holding it together, and you are upset because they did not speak to you. Someone is raising children with no support, and you are offended they did not show up to your birthday parties or a burial of a friend? Someone is so exhausted they pass out the moment their children fall asleep, and you are angry they did not return your call. Someone is taking hit after hit to their spirit through deep disappointment and painful heartbreak, and you are upset they did not reach out to explain it. Not everything is about access to you. What looks like distance is often survival. What looks like silence is sometimes someone choosing peace over collapse. What looks like absence is a person trying to make it through one more day without breaking. If it were truly concern, it would come with understanding. It would come with patience. It would come with the ability to give space without turning it into a personal attack. Real care does not demand constant presence or immediate responses. Real care adapts to what someone is going through, even when it means stepping back. You do not get to claim love or concern while centering your ego in someone else’s struggle. Respect people where they are. Respect what they are carrying. Respect the fact that not everyone has the capacity to show up the way you want them to. Egos are out of control, and it is showing in the way people expect others to perform through pain just to keep them comfortable. Learn the difference between being neglected and someone simply trying to survive.

Liver fluke is a parasite that lives in the liver of cattle, where it feeds and causes serious damage. Infection leads to a condition commonly known as adult liver fluke disease, which reduces growth, milk production, and overall health. Farmers are most likely to see liver fluke problems: -During and after the rainy season, when snails multiply in wet areas -In low-lying or marshy grazing lands -When cattle graze near streams, dams, or wetlands Liver fluke thrives in wet conditions, making control especially important in rainy periods.

Colombia has 200 wild hippos right now. They all came from 4 that Pablo Escobar smuggled in for his private zoo in 1981. Three females, one male. After he was killed in 1993, officials left the hippos behind. They escaped into the river. That was 45 years ago. 16 hippos by 2007. 40 by 2014. 120 by 2019. Around 200 today. Colombia is the only country outside Africa with wild hippos. And these hippos hit breeding age earlier than African ones, so they multiply faster. Each one eats 110 lbs of plants a night. They also dump 13 lbs of waste a day, almost all of it into the water. The waste feeds tiny organisms that suck the oxygen out and kill fish. It's pushing out 3 native species running out of space: the West Indian manatee, the Dahl's toad-headed turtle, and the Magdalena River turtle. Colombia spent 12 years across 3 governments trying to sterilize the hippos. It didn't work. Sterilizing one hippo needs a crane. The surgery is dangerous for the vets. A 2023 study said it would cost $1 to $2 million just to slow the breeding, and even then hippos would still be around for another 50 to 100 years. The government asked 7 countries and 2 international zoo groups to take some. Zero said yes. Then Anant Ambani made his offer. He runs Vantara, a 3,500-acre wildlife center in Gujarat that holds 47,000+ animals (200+ elephants, 160 tigers, 200 lions, 900 crocodiles). His proposal: take the 80 hippos Colombia plans to cull, fly them to India, cover their care for life. But the math has a catch. The cull was for 80 of the estimated 200. If Vantara takes those 80 alive instead of dead, it's a humane trade. The other 120 stay in the river. They breed faster than African hippos. The original 4 became 200 in 45 years.

Walaikum Salam. Islam understands human nature, and part of the wisdom of this faith is that it encourages full enjoyment and intimacy between a husband and wife to protect the heart and the home. The religion does not look at physical pleasure as something dirty or shameful within marriage; it sees it as a way to build tranquility and keep both partners from looking at what is forbidden. The foundation of this freedom is the verse where the Almighty says: نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ (your wives are like a field of cultivation for you, so you are permitted to approach your field of cultivation in whatever way you wish) According to the tafseer of Ibn Kathir and other classical scholars, the word أنى in this verse provides a wide range of freedom for how a couple interacts. We can break it down into four key dimensions: 1.أنى شئتم: However or from whichever direction you wish. 2.متى شئتم: At whatever time you wish (day or night). 3.كيف شئتم: In whatever posture or style you want. 4.حيث شئتم: This refers to the location. Out of the four, the fourth point (location) is what Allah restricted. He restricted it to حرث (place of procreation). This means going through the anus is forbidden. Again, to fully enjoy this freedom, you must first keep away from the specific red lines: anal intercourse, intimacy during menstruation, and intimacy during post-natal bleeding. To show the freeness we have once those prohibitions are avoided, we look at the narration from Ibn Abbas regarding the habits of the Muhajirun and the Ansar: .. The literal meaning is that the Ansar limited themselves to one position, while the Quraysh would explore their wives in a way that seemed strange or unprecedented to others, seeking pleasure while facing them, from behind them, or while they were lying down. This proves that the method of seeking pleasure is a private matter. Since oral sex is a way to seek pleasure and has no text banning it, it stays within what is allowed. I should also add that I have read some medical articles that suggests engaging in oral sex with the female private part may have health risk due to bacteria or infections. I don’t know how substantiated that is. But as far as the religious ruling is concerned, I will end with two core principles to further prove my point: 1. الأصل في الأشياء الإباحة (The default in things is permissibility) Here, Everything is allowed until a clear text says it is forbidden. Since no verse or hadith forbids this act, it remains halal. 2. الوسائل لها أحكام المقاصد (Means take the ruling of their ends) If the goal is a healthy, chaste marriage that protects both people from haram, then the consensual means used to reach that satisfaction take the ruling of that noble goal. Allah knows best.

Everything women demand from a man costs money. -Provision costs money. -Protection costs money. -Leadership costs money. -Performance costs money. Everything men ask from a woman costs nothing. -Respect. -Peace. -Loyalty. -Softness. And somehow, what costs nothing is still called "too much" BY MODERN FEMINISTS. 🥺

I’m convinced that all these stakeholder engagements about the obnoxious Sovereignty Bill are for the show. Its owner is ready to pass it at any cost. It will pass with minimum objection from the legislators. Some are worried about the looming petitions while others have to be ‘thankful’ for their wins. Another lot is leaving the house. The timing is suspiciously perfect.

This post is for Muslims on the TL and those who want to know why Islam prohibits Surrogacy What does surrogacy mean? Surrogacy is a process where a woman carries a baby for another person or couple who will eventually be the legal parents. People often turn to this when they are struggling with infertility or when carrying a child would be a physical danger to the mother. While it looks like a way to fix a painful problem, Islam sees it as something that breaks the fundamental structure of a family. The main reason it is not allowed is the PROTECTION OF LINEAGE, known as Hifz al-Nasl. This is one of the five core objectives that Islamic law was built to protect. Imam Abu Ishaq al-Shatibi explained this in his book Al-Muwafaqat. He said that the entire Islamic community agree that the law was made to guard religion, life, intellect, property, and lineage. Without a clear and honest lineage, the way we handle inheritance, marriage, and our very identities would fall into total chaos. al-Shatibi stressed that establishing a proper lineage is a pillar of how a just society works. Unfortunately, Surrogacy splits motherhood into two different people. You have one woman providing the genes and another woman carrying the life and delivering the child. This creates a massive confusion about who the mother really is. The Quran provides a clear answer by defining motherhood through the struggle of pregnancy and the act of birth. ان امهاتهم الا اللائى ولدنهم (Their mothers are none but those who gave birth to them.) Surrogacy separates the biological side from the gestational side, which goes against the natural order and the clarity that Allah wants for every child. It turns a sacred life-giving process into something that can be contracted out, which takes away from the dignity of the woman. This part shows Islam is a respecter of womanhood. Unlike others, Islam recognizes a woman’s body to be a sanctuary, and not a machine or a rental space. Using a surrogate treats her as a commodity, which is a major concern because it often exploits women in difficult financial situations. Also, reproduction is meant to stay within the private boundaries of a marriage contract. The reproductive system of a woman is a sanctuary that belongs only to her and her husband. When a man's sperm is placed into a woman who is not his wife, even through medical tools, it is seen as an intrusion into a space where he has no legal right to be. Here, scholars ruled that surrogacy is prohibited because it brings a third person into a bond that was meant to be for two. They argued that the womb is an integral part of a mother’s identity. This keeps the family tree clean and prevents the mixing of lineages that the scholars have worked so hard to protect. Allah says: ادعوهم لابائهم هو اقسط عند الله Call them by the names of their fathers. It is more just in the sight of Allah. This principle of justice ensures every child knows exactly where they come from. As for those facing the pain of infertility, Islam does not leave you without hope. It allows for medical help such as IVF, but only under strict checks. The procedure is only allowed if the sperm and egg come from the husband and wife and the embryo is placed back into the wife's own womb while they are STILL MARRIED. This is viewed as a medical cure. Scholars use the story of Prophet Zakariya to show that seeking help to fix a physical barrier to having children is a blessed path. Allah says: فاستجبنا له ووهبنا له يحيى واصلحنا له زوجه So We answered his prayer, and bestowed upon him John, and We healed his wife for him. Scholars say this healing of the wife shows that medical intervention to restore fertility is a mercy from Allah. It means you can use the knowledge of science to fix what is broken in the body as long as you do not cross the sacred lines of lineage.

Deep down, I sincerely want to know why Surrogacy is not allowed in Islam?

She is Lying. Childlessness when it isn’t by choice can be deeply painful and traumatic. Deciding to have a child purely out of your own will can be just as beautiful and meaningful. Choosing to be child-free can be fulfilling and empowering. What truly brings peace is making an informed decision about what you genuinely want for your life.
