Yesterday I gave a lecture to medical students. At the start I asked them to stop talking. I asked 6 times to no avail. Only when I removed my microphone & said I wouldn’t give the lecture did they stop. Maybe overreacting, but I felt very sad, both for myself & for psychiatry
