San Diego County just jumped from 59th to 5th worst in the nation for year-round particle pollution. Cleaning the air is literally CARB’s job. Gavin Is Calling It Democracy. We Know What It Really Is. The man who pushed Prop 50 to redraw California’s congressional districts specifically to help Democrats win is now calling today’s Supreme Court ruling an attack on democracy. He manipulated district lines for partisan gain and called it protecting voters. The Supreme Court just ruled that drawing maps based on race is unconstitutional. Gavin is celebrating Bed Bath & Beyond reopening a dozen stores as proof of California’s economic dominance. This is the same Bed Bath & Beyond that went bankrupt and closed every single store in 2023. Meanwhile Rite Aid closed all 347 of its California locations permanently. Walgreens shut down nearly 30 stores in San Francisco alone since 2019. CVS closed hundreds of locations nationwide with California among the hardest hit. Everyday Californians cannot get their prescriptions filled because retail theft drove pharmacies out of their neighborhoods and Newsom opposed Prop 36 for years.
