Today on the floor I introduced The Marijuana Reclassification Act of 2024. It’s HIGH time we create a framework that works for patients, researchers, and our communities.

Marijuana being a Schedule I drug hinders research and access for those in need. By rescheduling it to Schedule III, we can unlock its medical potential while also ensuring that it is properly regulated. It’s high time for science and compassion to be a guide for our policies!
