It was an absolute honor to attend the Installation Dinner for the Center Moriches Fire Department with my fellow elected colleagues & friends. Thank you to the dedicated men & women who answer the call day in & day out to keep our community safe. We are grateful for all you do.

It was an honor to attend the VFW Post 2913 Award Ceremony last night. We heard essay written by local students who wrote about what Patriotism means, recognized outstanding students who are pursuing a career in Military, and had a chance to thank our brave Veterans.

It was great to stop by the Child Safe ID event & see so many families taking advantage of this important service. These events play a vital role in keeping our children safe & giving parents added peace of mind. Thank you to the Sheriff's Office for making this event a success.

I attended AARP NY’s Legislative Breakfast. This discussion was especially vital as Suffolk County experienced a large increase in the elder population, and their needs for affordability and support are crucial to improving their quality of life. Thank you AARP for inviting me.

It was a pleasure to meet with Maureen McCormick from the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, where we discussed their ongoing efforts to combat Deadly Driving on Long Island's roadways. This is a serious public safety issue & I appreciate the important work being done.

Tomorrow, NYS Senator Dean Murray is hosting an Operation Safe Child I.D. event alongside fellow elected officials at the Bayport-Blue Point Public Library from 3pm-5pm. Receive a card with updated information of your child’s characteristics & identity in cases of emergency.

It's been a full day of meetings before session, and it's always valuable to take the time to hear directly from those organizations and constituents that I represent. Thank you to everyone that met with me and shared your thoughts. I truly value hearing your perspectives.

As tax season continues, I want to remind residents to stay alert and be aware of potential tax scams. If something seems suspicious, trust your instincts and report it. Staying informed and cautious is the best way to protect yourself and your finances.

It was a jam-packed day of meetings ahead of session in Albany, including time with the Longwood School District, a Senate Higher Education discussion with SUNY & conversations with NYSCOPBA, among others. These were truly enlightening discussions. Thank you for meeting with us.

On Friday, 3/20 at the Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library-Women & the American Revolution on Long Island Speakers will continue our exploration of America's 250th celebration & discuss what it was like to be a woman on LI from 1776 to 1783. This event is reservation only.

This Wednesday, 3/18–The SC Dept of Economic Development & Planning & Architects Consultant Team will have a meeting at Mastic Beach Property Owners Association from 6pm-8pm. Come on down & participate in this meeting regarding the Violet Cove Redevelopment Project.

Irish eyes were smiling in the 3rd Senate District! I was proud to march in the Bluepoint Bayport St. Patrick’s Day Parade with my colleagues in government. Congrats Jennifer McNamara, this years Grand Marshal! I then stopped by the Center Moriches parade to wish them well too!

I was truly humbled today to be honored by The Dr. Calabo Lodge: Order Sons & Daughters of Italy in America at their annual Gala. It was wonderful to hear about the work they do to provide a better future for the younger generations! A heartfelt thank you for today’s recognition.

The NYS 3rd Senate District is celebrating St. Patrick's Day with hearts full of green & cheer! There is an event at Station Yards tomorrow & there will be parades on March 15th, March 22nd & March 28th in various towns throughout the district. Please see the flyers for details.
