US Senior National Rep to UK Carrier Strike Group

As we approach the final days of #CSG21 deployment. It’s time to reflect on what has been achieved in the UK’s largest, most complex maritime deployment in a generation. Here are some of the highlights of our journey east. @RoyalNavy @RoyalAirForce @USMC @NATO @SenNatRepQNLZ

Continuing to reflect on #CSG21, the breadth and scope of HMS Queen Elizabeth’s inaugural deployment is a clear demonstration of the UK’s commitment to global engagement and security.

Today, #VMFA211, flew F-35B Lightning II’s from @HMSQNLZ to @NAVSTA_Rota for the first leg of their trip home. While the deployment is not over, the departure does mark the beginning of the end.

As #CSG21 says farewell to VMFA-211 @USMC F-35B aircraft, I wish to thank them for their commitment, loyalty & professionalism. The achievements of this deployment have been groundbreaking and raised the bar in terms of integration between our two nations. #StrongerTogether 🇬🇧🇺🇸

For the Marine Corps, this marks the third time we have cross-decked aircraft as part of #CSG21. We are ready to fix, fly, fight and win.

The UK's Carrier Strike Group, led by the @RoyalNavy 's @HMSQNLZ aircraft carrier, represents the best of British engineering. Visiting more than 44 nations in its first operational tour, CSG embodies a truly Global 🌎Britain 🇬🇧 @BWallaceMP said in Parliament today.
