Indiana remains just one of 13 states without any form of legal cannabis. Tomorrow, we start a golden opportunity to change that with the first Interim Study Committee on Cannabis. I will be fighting for us to join those other 37 states with modernized cannabis laws.

If Hoosiers were overcharged, even by mistake, NIPSCO must make it right. That means conducting a full investigation & issuing refunds to every affected customer, regardless of when the error occurred.

Utility bills are already too high, and many Hoosier families are struggling just to keep up. Hearing that customers may have been incorrectly billed by NIPSCO is deeply concerning.

It’s incredibly important that our part of the state remains engaged and that our voices are heard loud and clear at the Statehouse. I’m committed to continuing to advocate for the needs of our communities and ensuring Northwest Indiana has a strong seat at the table.

This past week, I had the privilege of joining leaders from across the Region at the Northwest Indiana Forum. We had a productive conversation about major legislation passed this session and how these decisions directly impact Northwest Indiana.
