On this date in 1989 the music video for 2300 Jackson Street was released, It was filmed at the Jacksons Hayvenhurst Mansion in Encino, California and it was the last song Michael Jackson recorded with his brothers. The song and accompanying video served as a tribute to the family roots and their childhood home at 2300 Jackson Street In Gary, Indiana, as well as their parents Joe and Katherine Jackson. It features a massive family reunion, including the brothers Jermaine, Tito, Randy, Jackie, MJ, as well as Katherine and Joe, Janet, Rebbie and numerous Jackson grandchildren. La Toya does not appear in the video, and while Marlon sang on the track, he is also absent from the video.
