But again and again, the real world is messy, complex, and unpredictable even for human itself. And that’s where the real problem starts. How can AI truly understand the world if the place it learns from doesn’t reflect reality? A lot of people in this era are focused on building bigger and more powerful models, but they overlook one critical thing: the “world” those models learn in. Without realistic environments, AI’s understanding will always be limited. This is something more developers and researchers are starting to realize.
