GREAT NEWS! This is how it should be.   Earlier this year, I wrote to the heads of every executive agency requesting they BUY AMERICAN ONLY. This is especially important for generic drugs. I’m glad to see @POTUS taking this action so we can be LESS dependent on foreign nations, create MORE American jobs, and STOP sending taxpayer dollars overseas.

For too long, an estimated $207 MILLION were going to insurance companies EVERY YEAR for dead people on Medicaid rolls. Now, that’s stopped because of Chairman @SenRickScott’s LIVE Beneficiaries Act. It was signed into law as part of the Working Families Tax Cuts to crack down on Medicaid waste and ensure states ACTUALLY check if their Medicaid enrollees were dead. Chairman Scott is working to safeguard Medicaid for those who TRULY need it.

Not to mention, they’re likely making these important decisions during major life transitions, as Ms. Roszkowski with @AARP pointed out. Chairman @SenRickScott is aiming to help these seniors and offer the support they need to make SMART financial decisions for a secure retirement.

In 2024, America’s seniors lost over $5 BILLION to scams and the threat is only growing. As scammers become more sophisticated, we must ensure seniors are educated on how to fight them. Financial literacy is the KEY to protecting our older community and Chairman @SenRickScott is working to protect them from financial fraud.
