76% of businesses say operating in NY is barely affordable or not affordable at all, according to a @BusinessNYS survey of 1,400+ businesses. Yet bills like S1783B do nothing to limit new taxes, fees, or mandates. Here’s why I voted no.

Access to healthcare should never depend on your zip code. At the Joint Budget Hearing on Health, I raised concerns about the growing challenges rural communities face — from provider shortages to long wait times for specialists and limited access to dental and specialty care.

I voted NO on the CLCPA because we knew it was flawed. Now NYSERDA’s own report confirms it: these mandates come with massive costs. Upstate families could face over $4,100 a year in higher energy bills. New Yorkers can’t afford this.

Protecting our natural resources and drinking water is an important part of my work. I met with the Finger Lakes - Lake Ontario Watershed Protection Alliance to discuss ways to keep our natural resources strong and sustainable.

New Yorkers want lower energy costs. I pushed for a requirement that the Public Service Commission show how state mandates drive up utility bills, because families, seniors, and businesses deserve answers. I’m fighting for transparency, accountability, and lower bills.

New Yorkers are working harder than ever, but one-party rule keeps driving costs up. I’m advancing solutions to lower taxes, cut housing and utility costs, reduce health care premiums, and roll back red tape. I’ll keep fighting to put money back in your pocket.
