Local ordinances governing industrial projects with significant impacts on public health, water resources, energy demand, noise & quality of life should be grounded in independent science & enforceable health protections, not standards shaped by the very industry seeking approval

Counties should not be negotiating “industry standards” that hand billion-dollar tech companies a ready-made legal framework to argue that massive hyperscale data center developments are acceptable in our communities.

Big Tech and corporate politicians want Pennsylvania to become the next AI server farm, while all of us get stuck with higher electric bills, drained water resources, and backroom deals seeking to limit local control and public input.

🚧 Rt. 345 closure in East and West Nantmeal Townships ⬇️ Tuesday, May 12 through Friday, May 15, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, PennDOT will close Route 345 (Bulltown Road) between Route 82 (Manor Road) and Route 401 (Conestoga Road) for base repair work.

@PA_PUC Under Pennsylvania law, the Commission’s responsibility is clear: to determine whether this merger is in the public interest. A merger that concentrates control of our water resources while expanding industrial demand and risk is not in the public interest.

I testified before the @PA_PUC this week in opposition to the proposed merger of American Water & Essential Utilities. This proposed $40 billion merger would not provide any public benefit, but instead, create a mega monopoly that would increase profits & enrich shareholders

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission has started bridge repair work along Little Conestoga Road in Upper Uwchlan Township. During this period, motorists will be directed to follow a posted detour utilizing Milford Road, Font Road, and Route 100.

If your State Senator is not a co-sponsor (buff.ly/L7RjDQT), call them and ask why. Affordability cannot just be a slogan in an election year used to win votes if we are not willing to confront the real drivers of rising costs & who continues to benefit from them.

This legislation has bipartisan support. But there is no question that powerful industry interests, especially those positioned to profit from this rapid expansion, have worked to slow its progress in Harrisburg.

We hear a lot about affordability these days, but tackling the issue will require more than just hollow words at a press conference, or the same played out legislative initiatives that don’t address the root cause that has seen billionaires & mega corporations exploit all of us.
