I walked through the Faculty of Law at Lagos State University as a student, carrying questions, ambition, and a quiet determination to become. Yesterday, I returned with a deeper understanding of what it means to give back. It was an honour to support the Law Library with a complete archive of the Judgments of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, from inception till date. I am grateful to the University Management, the Faculty of Law, the LASU Alumni, Executives and Members of the Nigerian Bar Association Badagry Branch, and all who were present to receive this gesture with such warmth and purpose. My appreciation also goes to Lawbreed Limited, led by Mr Layi Babatunde, SAN, who was ably represented by Mrs Adejoke Layi Babatunde, for their role in making this possible. To the students, this is for you. Do not just study the law. Engage it. Question it. Master it. Because the future of our profession will be shaped by those who are prepared, not just to practice the law, but to understand it deeply.
