Students in KY read my book!!! 🙌🏽 Today, I virtually met Dr. @michelleshory’s students at Seneca HS in Louisville, KY who just finished reading #IfUonlyKnewBook I was so proud of a group of them who asked their questions. I LOVED answering their questions— they had some deep & personal questions 😅 Thank you, Dr. Michelle Makus Shory, Ed.D. for sharing our stories with your class and for encouraging them to also share their stories. @Seneca_FA took a very deserving field trip to see #Wonka in the theater. Particular happy moment for me was when some of our ML kids ordered their concessions in English by themselves. They were so proud! Small teacher moments!
