I spoke with António Costa @eucopresident. Thank you very much for supporting our state and our people. We discussed in detail the prospects of the negotiation process for peace for Ukraine and all of Europe. I informed him about our recent contacts with various leaders in Europe and with the American side. We both agree that Europe must be involved in the negotiations. It is important for it to have a strong voice and presence in this process, and it is worth determining who will represent Europe specifically. Сьогодні разом вшанували пам’ять загиблих через політичні репресії в Національному історико-меморіальному заповіднику «Биківнянські могили», також поклали квіти до пам’ятного знака польських поховань. Ці історичні події свавілля Росії нагадують знову і знову, що зло не може залишатися безкарним, інакше репресії та знущання повертаються з новою силою. Зараз, коли тисячі наших людей – військовополонених та цивільних в’язнів – залишаються в російській неволі і проходять через такі ж випробування, важливо не забувати про це. Потрібно на всіх рівнях докладати необхідних зусиль, щоб повернути кожного та кожну. І обовʼязково – щоб справедливість була і злочинці відповідали за свої вчинки. У вільного світу достатньо сили, щоб це забезпечити.

Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians and members of other nations went through the Soviet machine of terror. The overwhelming majority of them – simply for being who they were. Today, together, we honored the memory of those killed by political repression at the Bykivnia Graves National Historical Memorial Preserve and also laid flowers at the Memorial Sign of Polish Burials. These historical events of Russia’s savagery remind us again and again that evil cannot remain unpunished; otherwise, repression and abuse return with renewed force. Now, when thousands of our people – prisoners of war and civilian detainees – remain in Russian captivity and are going through the same trials, it is important not to forget this. At all levels, the necessary efforts must be made to bring back each and every one of them. And above all, we must ensure that justice is served and that the criminals are held accountable for their actions. The free world has enough strength to ensure this.

In the past week, Russian propaganda efforts aimed to promote fakes about "staged events", mobilization, negotiations, and "violation of the ceasefire" by Ukraine. For this, they used Telegram networks, photo fakes, manipulations of statements, and mass dissemination through FIMI resources. 1️⃣ "Ukraine independently blew up a residential building in Kyiv" In fact, the fact of the shelling was confirmed by Ukrainian services, international partners, satellite data, and independent media. The thesis about a "self-explosion" does not withstand any technical criticism - the nature of the destruction and the fragments of the missiles clearly indicate a missile strike. 2️⃣ "The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine placed a billboard with a man hiding from the TSK" In fact, this is a photo fake. In the image there are no elements of the official identity of the Ministry of Defense, and the photo itself has signs of digital editing. 3️⃣ "Zelensky agreed to give Donbass to Russia in 2022" After the interview with Yulia Mendel to Tucker Carlson, Russian propaganda began to spread the thesis about Ukraine's alleged readiness to "give up Donbass". The Office of the President refuted these statements.
