I’m so saddened to hear that Charlie Kirk was murdered today while participating in the best of American democracy- civic engagement and free speech. He was dedicated to lifting up American values and freedom, and I am praying for his wife and young family.

Democrats are playing political blame games and refusing to work together to pass a bonding bill this session. We would rather put Minnesotans first with bipartisan solutions and proposals.

Senator Kari Dziedzic was a passionate legislator, a respected leader, and a trusted colleague and friend. She will be remembered for her integrity and her compassion for Minnesotans, something that we all saw as she continued to serve even as she battled cancer.

I am sending prayers for his family as they come to terms with the sudden and tragic loss of a father and a husband during what is supposed to be a festive and joyful season.

I am incredibly saddened and deeply disturbed by this morning’s brutal and targeted murder of Brian Thompson in New York. Thompson was well-regarded for his professionalism and dedication.

Proud to be part of the opening celebration for Warroad RiverPlace. This community is really becoming a destination to visit and live. Looking forward to being at a few events here.
