Less than three hours after the President announced a blockade of Venezuela last night, the Secretary of Defense was busy tweeting about me. He wasn’t conferring with his senior leadership, combat commanders, or the White House. He wasn’t planning for what is likely to be a major operation. He wasn’t trying to figure out how to reduce risk to our servicemembers. He was tweeting about me.

I’m thinking of our servicemembers stationed around the world and away from home right now. It’s never easy to be away from family for the holidays, and it’s another example of the sacrifice they make to keep our country safe. Happy Thanksgiving, and thank you for your service.

My wife @GabbyGiffords nearly lost her life in an act of political violence. Words have consequences, especially when they come from the President of the United States. What Trump said this morning — that my colleagues and I should be put to death — is dangerous. We can disagree fiercely and say what we think without resorting to stoking violence. Unfortunately, we've seen that at every turn, Donald Trump looks for opportunities to divide us.

This anti-ICE rioter was hit in the eye with a rubber bullet a couple months ago and is still suffering from vision loss. He is now preparing to file a lawsuit against the Trump administration because he feels he deserves justice for having to deal with such pain and suffering. Thoughts ?

@YellowFlashGuy Reminds me of Twisted Metal 1 and 2. The first one was perfectly serviceable and has its own charms. But the second one just dominated in all measurements, clearly the superior of the two.

It’s the better of the two.
