@EverydaySens We’re losing because our best players aren’t stepping up. And our GM once again failed to address any team needs at yet another deadline. Take the match up and be better
Seeing the other games and realizing that, yeah, this is why I was hesitant about Carolina in round one.
Not saying it’d be easy against Buffalo but experience is so valuable. Carolina knows the exact way to play and don’t give an inch. Zero mistakes.
Sucks but that’s the cost of digging a hole early.
Not a headline yet, but a developing storyline in this series is how much better Carolina’s 4th line has been that Ottawa’s.
Barely noticing Zetterlund out there. He should be a difference maker in those minutes. Eller has done well on draws (77%, 66%) but that’s it.
@AndrewWilimek@Senators@ian_mendes what a pathetic interview. Does this fucking guy even want to win? Two seasons in a row he doesn’t have his group ready to play, and he’s acting like he knows playoff hockey. Get Cassidy in here we need a coach who can win in the playoffs - soft ass mindset by Green
“At the moment, you never feel good about much when you lose a game like that, but as the hours go by, you start to realize that you did a lot of good things, could have easily won that game, it could have gone either way.“

@AndrewWilimek@Senators What a pathetic interview by Green. Such a losing mentality - need a coach who knows how to attack the playoffs this guy is weak as fuck
The #Sens are off today but HC Travis Green spoke to the media as Ottawa is down 0-2 in the series to Carolina:
"Not going to hide the fact that those are hard games to lose. When you’re playing for something as prestigious as the Stanley Cup when you lose a game like that it hurts & it should hurt. We have a couple days to regroup, not just physically, but mentally.”
@SunGarrioch How about we get Sleepy Steve in front of a mic so he can explain to the fans why he did absolutely jack shit for 3 season to address scoring
The Carolina Hurricanes are the top seed in the East. They held serve at home, despite Ottawa pushing them to double OT in Game 2.
This series is not over, and the CTC is going to play a big role in Game 3. #Sens are 9-1-1 in their last 11 at home.
If you want a real positive way to look at the Sens being down 2-0 right now in this series: Just think about how many times in our heads this team has been dead throughout the season. We've been on this ride all year and they keep pulling through for us. Let's get pesky here!
“We can be frustrated for tonight, but we wake up tomorrow, it’s a new day. And we’re going back home, playing in our building in front of our fans, and we know we can beat this team. So you know, it stings right now, but we’ve got to have a short memory.” — Dylan Cozens
@jackrichrdson Which shows our best players aren’t good enough. Same issue for 3 full fucking seasons. This isnt an issue over 2 games, get a fucking goal scorer
I’ll come around to the positives. Still a lot to take from the games in Raleigh. They are right there with this Hurricanes team.
But man that stings. Best players had the game on their stick several times and couldn’t end it. Absolutely sucks.
@Senators Steve Staios needs to step down. He’s had 3 full seasons to bring in a goal scorer, and he’s completes failed. Go back to the OHL where you belong
