It’s happened plenty of times before. Also the UK was almost bombed into oblivion during WWII by Germany, so of course they wouldn’t want someone performing that made a song praising the person that almost brought their destruction

Banning an artist from entering an entire COUNTRY sets a serious precedent that I’m not sure I like. Cancelling a festival is understandable but a full entry ban, especially from a country like the UK? Where is the line and what does a decision like this mean for other artists?

The rise in anti intellectualism is one of the worst things to deal with right now. We have access to more information than anyone in history and people just ignore it. It takes no time to look up something but people rather talk ignorantly about things they don’t understand
