@davidfowl The function of a pipeline in its essence is to block bad stuff from reaching production What can go wrong if we let agents do that for us?

As a founder, what’s best way to get your first 100 paying users? 1. Building in public 2. Cold DMs 3. Paid Ads I’m asking because launching my SAAS next week

My top tip for @obsdmd users: 1. Delete the CMD+N hotkey for "New note" 2. Bind CMD+N to "Open quick switcher" Quick switcher allows you to find *and* create notes. Use SHIFT+Enter to create. You'll be surprised how often your note idea already exists and you will avoid dupes.

A testing approach I use: Ping First. When dev outpaces infrastructure and external dependencies aren't ready. Don't wait for "testable" code. Deploy the smallest thing that can reach all endpoints. It doesn't need features. It just needs to ping. Prove the path works first.

The Boy Who Cried Wolf effect in testing: If everything is urgent, nothing is. I once saw a tester file a P1 because a font was wrong. Then stalked the dev until it was fixed. Instead of labeling urgency, ask: "What happens if we leave this as is?" Let the team decide.

You don't pay for information. You pay for the structure of it. I've watched countless videos, tutorials, read blogs, threads, documentation. But I pull my wallet for structured information. The stuff that saves me from connecting all the dots myself.

Something I've noticed in AI discussions lately. "Should I learn Cursor or Cody?" "Claude Code or Copilot?" "What about OpenClaw?" Reminds me of wanting to build a shed and asking: "Should I learn Makita, Bosch, or DeWalt?"

I stopped using job title terminology. "Are you a tester or QA?" "Is that manual or automated testing?" I just describe what I do.

@ReemAmirIbrahim You can as well, just include the year always. YYYY-MM-DD. Then it makes more sense
