Sentinel's infrastructure has been used by over a million users and supports multiple functional decentralized products, whats the issue? The issue is that Sentinel has no way of communicating the fair value of a node to a application owner. No one knows what they are paying for. In the real world, people go to websites like digital ocean and AWS to purchase cloud and these platforms provide a clear understanding of system specs in terms of bandwidth availability and CPU/RAM. CPU/RAM is very important for VPN servers because each additional user who connects takes a certain % of CPU and RAM load. The truth is Sentinel isn't just about bandwidth, its about CPU + RAM + Bandwidth. A node that has a 1 GBPS connection doesn't matter if it doesn't have the RAM + CPU to handle even 10 concurrent users. Sentinel has already integrated a centralized VPN and has proven its ability to provide its users bandwidth, but what is the point if Sentinel cant even provide a fair determination of node's capacity and value? Decentralization and privacy as concepts are amazing, but they are not possible at scale without economic structure and a profit model for long term sustenance. Our focus has to be towards creating real-world businesses, not on-chain science projects. Multiple apps have been built on Sentinel in the past weeks alone, but how can the creator turn a profit if the creator does not know what they are paying for while they may have an idea of what to charge his end users. If they are targeting 1k users at first, they need nodes that have a capacity of providing at least 30% - 300 concurrent sessions at any time so users don't face issues with connectivity. On existing cloud CPU platforms an application creator can easily understand their costs. Sentinel is almost there, with the on-chain data from the new node hosting software and the node testing platform, a determination of specs and bandwidth capability will be available on-chain for the plan management platform to give a clear price determination to a dVPN application creator. Each utility is fully open-source and has its own CLI and can be also hosted on a local machine. This is the power of relying only on the blockchain RPC for the end to end creation of a fully functional and profit ready dVPN application. Lets decentralize the VPN industry

@SentinelP2P solid growth numbers but dVPN narratives always live or die on real-world reliability not just sessions on paper tbh. if uptime + latency holds under pressure then it actually sticks otherwise it’s just usage spikes.followed u btw

April stats for the Sentinel Network Most users in a single month in 2026 All-time high for encrypted dVPN sessions 40k+ users 2M+ sessions Access to the internet should not be restricted, and decentralized VPNs built on Sentinel help keep it that way.

The Sentinel ecosystem thanks @HNSinstitute for donating the .vpn TLD to the Sentinel ecosystem. Handshake is a blockchain that replaces ICANN's centralized DNS root with a permissionless on-chain registry. Owning a TLD on Handshake means owning the cryptographic right with no annual renewals and no registrar middleman and no entity on Earth that can seize, or censor it. This matters right now. Utah's HB 37 has opened the war on a free internet by directly targeting VPN providers. The potential goal is to legislate VPNs that don't comply over time out of app stores and pressure registrars to seize their domains and tighten the chokepoints. Sentinel was built for exactly this fight - permissionless P2P bandwidth with no API keys and no servers to trust. Anyone can create their own dVPN with just a Sentinel chain RPC. With ownership of the .vpn TLD: - RPC endpoints will be reachable at rpc.vpn — so users can connect to Sentinel chain infra even when their ISP, country, or app store blocks the underlying domain - Every dVPN built on Sentinel will get its own permanent identity- yourvpn.vpn - owned on-chain, immune to takedowns Censorship-resistant P2P decentralized VPN infrastructure requires a decentralized DNS to function at scale.

In this week’s edition of Sentinel’s Sunday Morality we ask the following As Utah moves to restrict VPNs and the EU promising similar action Is giving up privacy for a “safer” internet the right choice?

"how can a project become the #1 prediction market when it’s banned in half the world?" De-Fi like Polymarket cannot be accessed without VPNs for a large % of global market. The tools for building and launching your own monetized decentralized VPN within a hour are almost here

VPN. Every project soft bans some countries from accessing their websites. But usually it’s easy to bypass with VPN. Yet I only know Sky that ACTUALLY detects VPN strictly while most projects just do the bare minimum enforcement. And thanks to that!

VPN detection is improving Blocking is increasing Because centralized VPN infrastructure is easy to identify, track, and flag A decentralized VPN built on Sentinel cannot be as easily identified or tracked Join 1M+ users and agents accessing an unrestricted internet

A new era for the Cosmos ecosystem begins. Negative sentiment and FUD does not last forever. Respect to @jaekwon for taking the time to apologize. For those who are left in the Cosmos ecosystem, lets work together towards a new time of cooperation and value creation.
jae kwon@jaekwon

I am truly sorry for my behavior and attitude toward the ICF/ICS members in the past year and even years prior. Disappointment or disapproval is one thing, whether founded or not. Acting out is something else entirely and only hurts everyone around, not to mention unbecoming. I have used Go.Skip.Build and it is an excellent product. Barry and Mag never deserved my jabs. I wish them the best with the Cosmos enterprise angle. I am also sorry for my past political rants. It's not really my place to comment on them and I have my own project, employees, and community to look out for. Prejudice and assumptions were declared as facts partially because if my ignorance and hubris. But more importantly we are told to love even our enemies (not that anyone in particular is). What I projected was not love but fear and anger. I hope that with the coming gno.land mainnet and through the following years to have an opportunity to demonstrate my true repentance toward becoming a different person and leader. Not trying to gain anything out of this remark, only memorializing a disavowal of my past communications. God bless.
