January 19 - our schools are open! Please allow extra time at drop off and pick up. There is limited parking and safe drop off spots due to snow accumulation.

Once again due to the heavy volume of snow and dangerous road conditions the school will be closed again today. Hope you can stay safe and warm.

Our reports this morning tell us road conditions are increasingly challenging and more snow is forecast. Our priority is to ensure our students, families, and staff our safe. For this reason, schools will be closed today.

Starting January 8th, the field house will be open for Grade 8 students at lunch on Monday’s. Open gym will be basketball shoot around and the first 30 students to arrive will get in.

Congratulations to two Sentinel Grade 10 students, Danika Lefebvre and Alex Dick-Cleland, for their performances to help their teams win gold medals in recent field hockey tournaments in the USA. #westvaned #spartans

A THOUSAND CRANES Art Students at all levels collaborated in a large scale installation to create 1000 cranes to symbolize and explore what peaceful behaviour looks like. This piece was inspired by the United Nations Peacekeepers 75th Anniversary. #westvanded
