Hwoarang is dead. There is no longer any reason to play Hwoarang. Even when he was nerfed in Season 2, I did research and hard training to try and salvage the character, but I no longer see a future. I was very stressed out by this character's inefficient skill structure and unreasonable system elements, but looking at today's patch, there is no longer any need to play this character. It is time to look for another character.

@Tangcapz @bartonovopolis Tbf, Mark only gets to Thragg's level because of Eve. I'm sure he could have gotten there eventually but she accelerated the process by a ton.

Nah not yet but Nolan himself points out that Mark is getting close to his level way faster than he should be, which is crazy considering Viltrumites normally take decades or even centuries to get that strong.
Later on, it’s revealed that human DNA actually makes Viltrumite DNA adapt faster, not weaker like they originally thought.
So Mark being almost at Nolan’s strength this early isn’t random it’s because his hybrid DNA is basically giving him a faster growth curve than a full blooded Viltrumite… also later in the comics Mark surpasses thrag.. in strength.. speed.. all that.

@AnisDrawn i haven't read or heard anything about the game being scrapped/remade in any capacity. only that the bulk of the delays were devs fine tuning the core gameplay

@Ser_BlinKy The fact it got totally scrapped and then remade, it is very fast. Metroid Prime 4 had the same thing happen and that took twice as long

Pragmata reviews are crazy. How Capcom took a completely new IP, for it to vanish without a trace for 4 years, come back as something completely fresh and is now one of their recent best reviewed games. Bizarro world stuff. Looking forward to playing it.

@midnightlunachr There are definitely moments where it feels like QTE slop. RE5 has the same issue, which is why they're turned off by default. It's my biggest gripe about that era.

I think what makes this way worse is that DNF Duel has cool as hell looking characters. Dungeon Fighter Online, the game DNF Duel is based off of has a LOT of amazing character designs for their many classes that'll never be seen in the Arcsys style 🥲

I know people like to use DNF Duel as some sort of punching bag but I genuinely do believe that it was a decent fighting game that got heavily screwed over by Nexon/Neople who easily could've improved upon it but had no idea what they were even doing.
