@EnanoPancracio @BobertRent @turtlekiosk He was very aware and hated Walt, he would have seen through Hector's act or at least been suspicious, and with Mike being a bit suspicious so would have been Gus. It's not that Gus couldn't be killed with Mike there, it's that it would take a bigger justification.

@Seraf_fae @BobertRent @turtlekiosk Also, the writers didn't need mike to be in Mexico, Mike isn't bomb proof, and he also isn't clairvoyant. His being there wouldn't have saved Gus' life. If anything they needed him in Mexico to make sure they have enough characters for the 5th season.

it's funny to see these fan terms experience semantic drift. "worldbuilding" expands to mean the establishment of any setting, "shipping" means all romantic context, "powerscaling" to mean... i guess powerscaling but for all potential conflict in a narrative

@EnanoPancracio @BobertRent @turtlekiosk He beats the crap out of Walt in the bar, and takes a lot of damage from Tuco in BCS. Also, yes, Mike being a good marksman is relevant considering he constantly surveils Gus house to protect him lol. Being more "powerful" depends on the story.

@Seraf_fae @BobertRent @turtlekiosk It is a silly framing and it's defenders can't even use it correctly. Nothing in the story of BB tells you that Mike is stronger than Walt, he's almost a decade older, and he's noticeably shorter. We do know Mike is a better marksman, but this isn't a story about a sniper duel.

Es más bien como si de la nada la gente empezara a decir que hablar de la "Química" de los personajes es Shipeo, y que la química no importa para historias con romance. El powerscaling sirve para dinámicas de poder, la "química" sirve para dinámicas interpersonales.

@BobertRent @turtlekiosk I will concede that this is something more for the audience to have in the back of the mind than for "analysis", and that it's a limited view for a series like BB.

@BobertRent @turtlekiosk It's not the *most* relevant, but the three are part of why and how you would "powerscale" him in BB. Mike was stronger, more capable than the other goons, that stopped Walt often when planning against Gus. If he was just another goon, it'd be weird for Walt to struggle as much.

@BobertRent @turtlekiosk You can think this is a silly framing, but Mike was physically stronger than Walt, was more prepared and tended to be more careful about a lot of stuff. The writers needed Mike to be in Mexico for it to be believable Walt could find an opening to kill Gus.

@ConfessionsMew I think I've lost a lot more to the spider than Dybuk, everytime I think I can't beat Dybuk he positions in a way that lets me end the job. Having said that, i've also gone more often to fight the spider cause I try to have some area attacks before considering fighting Dybuk.

Igual la solución suele ser no dejarles rolear por algo así. Entiendo la idea con balance pero sí tu mago intenta levantar un auto y sabes que no lo lograría pues está bien solo describirle lo que pasa en lugar de hacerlo rolear.
