10 April 1929 | A German Jewish boy, Helmuth Press, was born in #Berlin. He arrived at #Auschwitz on 13 January 1942 in a transport of 1,210 Jews deported from Berlin. He was among 1,083 people murdered in gas chamber after the selection.

9 April 1938 | Jewish twin girls Annette & Paulette Szklarz were born in #Metz. On 31 July 1944 Annette was deported from #Drancy to #Auschwitz & murdered in a gas chamber. Paulette was in the hospital with measles & survived hidden by doctors. Paulette is @debra_author mother.

7 April 1911 | Czech Jewish woman Hilda Ritterová was born. In #Theresienstadt Ghetto from 24 October 1942. On 26 October 1942 she was deported to #Auschwitz with her husband Egon and children: Ruth & Peter. They were probably all murdered in a gas chamber after arrival.

5 April 1926 | Czech Jewish girl Eva Raimannová was born in Prague. In #Theresienstadt Ghetto from 24 October 1942. Two days later she was deported to #Auschwitz with her parents Viktor & Gisela and her brother Josef. None of them survived.
