Electricians completed adding multiple more 240V circuits allowing us to move forward with installing 6 more servers and a third rack today at The Vault.
We are building for the future. Infrastructure is hard but essential to safeguard preaching.

The work will never end. My architect and I sat beside The Vault HQ thinking about the future. Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Rom 10:17).

Thankful for the ministry of BEN HORKAVY of @BJUEdu in bringing the brief meditation for our Noon United Prayer Meeting. sermonaudio.com/sermons/313261…
@NWBingham@Ligonier You have always been a strong and able standard bearer for Ligonier—carrying this message with great skill. May God bless your future richly.
After fourteen years at @Ligonier and more than 1,000 episodes of Renewing Your Mind, I’m stepping into a new season.
I’m deeply grateful for the people, the places, the conversations, and the many evidences of the Lord’s kindness along the way.
It has been a privilege to serve, to learn, and to help carry forward a teaching ministry that has meant so much to me and to so many. God used @RCSproul in countless lives, and I will always be grateful that I had the opportunity to serve alongside him.
I’m looking forward to a brief season of rest with my family and am hopeful for what is ahead. I would value your prayers as I seek the Lord’s direction for this next chapter.
Grace and peace.
Our next Lecture Series on the campus of @BJUedu will feature our own Chief Architect Mike Furtney who will do a deep dive on how webcasting works on SA. You’ll not want to miss it. Hint: it’s all done in-house, from top to bottom.

THE VAULT // N. IRELAND
sermonaudio.com/sermons/382653…
In the will of the Lord, another Vault site will soon be established in the United Kingdom at the LTBS Centre in Ahoghill, Northern Ireland. This will become our 4th Vault site, but this site in particular will play a critical role in the overall Vault Network as the only full replica of our primary Vault HQ on the campus of Bob Jones University in Greenville SC, strengthening geographic redundancy and advancing our long-term goal of true cloud independence.
We hope to celebrate the opening of this Vault site together with the official opening of the LTBS Centre on April 18, 2026, marking an important step that will help extend the reach of the gospel, both physically and figuratively, toward the four corners of the world.
MOST FITTING PARTNERSHIP
In May 2025, we met with the board of Let the Bible Speak to explore the possibility of establishing a Vault site at the LTBS Centre. The facility had recently been acquired, and discussions were underway regarding how the space might best be used—one potential use being The Vault.
In many ways, this partnership could not be more fitting. Let the Bible Speak was founded by Dr. Alan Cairns over fifty years ago in Northern Ireland. SermonAudio was founded by Steven Lee more than twenty-five years ago in Greenville, South Carolina, with Dr. Cairns being its first preacher. Both ministries share a common purpose: extending the reach of faithful gospel preaching through broadcast media.
BEAUTIFUL HOME THE VAULT UK
We are honored that a beautiful space has been set aside for The Vault near the entrance of the LTBS Centre. It will be enclosed in a wall of glass, making it an attractive and visible feature for visitors to the building.
But it will not merely be decorative. This space will be equipped with high-speed fiber connectivity, cooling, and ample power—making it a fully operational site, actively encoding, transcoding, storing, and serving sermons worldwide. It is difficult to imagine a more meaningful use of this space.
In addition, a large display adjacent to the servers will show a dynamic world map indicating where sermons are currently being heard. This visual representation will give visitors a glimpse of the global work taking place behind the glass.
WHAT IS THE VAULT?
Above the Arctic Circle, between Norway and the North Pole, there is a secure storage facility built deep inside a mountain called the Svalbard Global Seed Vault, sometimes referred to as the Doomsday Vault. Its purpose is simple: to preserve seeds from around the world so that, in the event of a global catastrophe, foods could be regrown.
In a similar way, our Vault is designed to preserve something even more valuable—the good seed of the preached Word. By maintaining independent, physically controlled infrastructure, we are ensuring that the millions of sermons on SermonAudio are safely preserved and remain available for generations to come, regardless of attempts to cancel.
WHY THE UK?
The United Kingdom plays an important role in our long-term strategy. In modern computing, true resilience comes from maintaining complete copies of critical data in separate geographic regions. By establishing a Vault site in Northern Ireland, we strengthen the global distribution of the sermon library while eliminating the risks associated with a single point of failure in any one location or infrastructure.
Placing a full Vault replica in the UK together with a trusted partner like LTBS is a key part of ensuring that the preaching preserved on the Vault Network remains protected, accessible, and resilient well into the future.
PEOPLE PRAYING
While visiting the site last year, I learned something that left an impression on me. Some individuals had quietly stood in this very place and offered up prayers for this space, specifically, that The Vault might one day be located here.
May the Lord be pleased to answer these prayers and do exceeding abundantly above all that we could ask or think.
