Me (to Consultant): Sir, this is a 24-year-old unmarried male, no prior co-morbids, came with a 2-day history of cough.
Consultant (looking at the X-ray): This looks like a chronic fibrocavitary lesion. Priyam, you sure there’s no old history of TB?
Patient (Interrupting): Actually, Sir, I took 6 months of TB meds back in 2022. My wife is waiting outside with the old CT scans and biopsy reports.

ہسپتال او پی ڈی ٹائم صبح 8 سے دوپہر 3 بجے تک ہوتا۔ عام طور پر جونئیر ڈاکٹرز او پی ڈی میں بیٹھی ہوتی ہیں اور وہ بھی ساڑھے آٹھ تک آتی ہیں؛ ساڑھے نو دروازہ بند ہو جاتا ہے کہ ڈاکٹر صاحبہ چائے پی رہی ہیں۔ کم از کم بھی آدھا پونا گھنٹہ دروازہ بند رہتا ہے۔ پھر دوبارہ دن بارہ بجے 👇🏼

My 3 years of periphery were full of turmoil cuz I used to write n report every negligence. I ws the one who initiated hepc b n hiv testing before surgery bt got explanation letters for excessive tests cuz patient load ws high.Complained of out of order autoclave got into inquiry

I had a junior (Who was son of a MS of one of Lahore govt Hospitals) who made a report while working in Govt hospital that there is no check and balance system in hospitals for workers other than Doctors, Blood banks were doing fake cross checks etc etc.

🇮🇷 Day 3 of the U.S. naval blockade: An Iranian-flagged cargo vessel tried to sneak out of Bandar Abbas, slipped through the Strait of Hormuz, and hugged the Iranian coastline in an attempt to evade the blockade. The USS Spruance (DDG-111) intercepted it and successfully turned the ship around. That makes ten vessels turned back so far and zero ships have broken through since the blockade began on Monday.
