@Soe_Marrah As one of the drafters, I can say that way back in August 2019, we removed all reference to selection/consultation & require elections, even for chaplain. We put in term limits and an affirmative action clause for women. This draft is one of the most democratic constitutions.

The real internal victory of the APC party would be the removal of the undemocratic SELECTION CLAUSE in its Constitution. Political parties’ internal structures should be the best examples of the democracy they promise our nation. Because no one can give what they do not have.

@AdyMacauley I appreciate you bro. I may sleep a bit more tonight. Relieved partially anyway because after 21 days in CID custody & 2 days at the Female Correctional Center, Isata Saccoh Palo’s partner-was granted bail at about 5:45pm today.

#FreeIsataSaccoh. 20 days in CID detention. No charge. No bail. Another useless search of her residence conducted by the “Force for Good” in my presence today. Nothing of interest found yet still she continues to be unlawfully detained in violation of our 1991 Constitution.
