It has no gimbal and optical zoom so it has to be close to lock

@Serval4Life @Borg1902 @_edgegroup X-tails are standard missile geometry for high-G intercepts. It uses optical vision for the final strike which makes EW jamming completely useless against it. And it looks cheap by design because if you use an expensive interceptor to kill a $20,000 drone, you lose the war.

part of cleaning up involves buying new boards that solve bugs and problems. It's usually small stuff like not enough channels or lack of protection. There's also problem with drivers reliability due to DC motor spikes. 2/2

Most things are done. Now it's time to clean and organize every subsystem to work with each other. Only subsystem left to do is FC that will do so. It's scary part to make because each prototype will cost a lot and be most complex board of mine up to date. 1/2

Body of first prototype, only module working and installed is rear lift engine. Others still require time. Its meant to test manufacturing and basic workings of airframe. Theres a lot of room for improvement.

@Borg1902 @_edgegroup design itself is garbage. On the video its bearly able to catch target drone. Even geranium would be able to outrun it in most cases. 8 fixed pitch motors are slow and inefficient. X-tail is inefficient design. It has no EW-hardening. It looks like uni/hobby project

GBU-39 unlike GBU-38 has proper M channel CRPA Mil-grade high quality GPS antenna. It should be hard to jamm them.

@notyassine900 Another reason why rassvet is going to be nightmare for Ukraine is that it allows ISR drones and missiles to fly undetected and doing TOO. if it will be operational it will be like 10 times more damaging to UA than Starlink drones are to Russia.

Good INTEL with very few missiles > Bad INTEL with thousands of missiles. U may have an infinite missile stock, but if you don't have the means to find targets to hit, you will achieve zero results.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Even with the limited launches of the RASSVET satellites (Russian alternative to Starlink), They could still offer Russia limited military use. In a case study conducted by MilitarNYI, which followed only 3 Belarusian experimental satellites. The study found that even 3 were enough to created a limited connection, lasting 15-20 minutes. The study suggests that the 16 RASSVET satellites that Russia launched several weeks ago could theoretically provide a window of connection for several hours, multiple times a day. The Russians hope to have roughly 250 satellites in orbit by 2027, this would in fact give the military more than enough capability to replace the Starlink system. That being said, Russia claiming something versus it actually happening are usually two different things. Let me know your thoughts below.
