Banning loli content and nukige from a freaking database about visual novels is wild and it being vibecoded by AI is even more egregious. You're always going to be objectively inferior to VNDB because of that because you're missing so much of the content of the genre.

@biscottecracote Yeah, I HATE AI when it comes to art and other creative things. Like DLSS5🤮 I can say there's some truth to that haha. I've used GitHub copilot to spit out some snippets for me and I usually always do a once over on the code to fix any issues and optimize things.

Making a website/app to learn Japanese in 2026 with the oversaturation can be a little demotivating sometimes, but I still do it anyway because I've been working on free language learning resources since 2018, before the tsunami of vibe coded slop that we're seeing now.
